Female, Born ~07/30/23    

Lucy was found as a stray in Walterboro, SC. She was painfully thin and very shy. We are unsure of what happened to her before she was brought to the shelter, but she appears to have had a litter or two of puppies in her past. Currently, she is around 45 lbs and that seems to be her sweet spot in weight. She is oh so sweet, however she takes a minute to warm up to new people, which is understandable considering what she has been through. Lucy, with her gentle nature, is the perfect lap-dog. Being a Velcro dog, when she finds her person, her loyalty shines through and she never leaves their side. Lucy does well with other dogs and cats, and is also potty, leash, and crate trained. She will sleep in a crate over night but prefers to be snuggled up next to her person. Lucy deserves all the best things. If you adopt her she will pay you back with years of loyalty, snuggles, and tail wags.

Male, Born ~06/24/24

Hurricane was taken in during a storm with his brothers Hail and Thunder in Columbia. They are the absolute sweetest little guys ever. They are the perfect combination of playful and cuddle. If you like a kitty that purrs Hurricane is your guy. Thunder is a darker tabby, Hail is a silver tabby, and Hurricane landed somewhere in the middle with both darker and silver features in his coat. Hurricane is litter box trained, highly socialized with all humans, and does well with other cats and dogs. He will make a great addition to any family.

Male, Born ~06/24/24

 Thunder is his darkest tabby in litter taken in with his brothers in Columbia, SC. He is a highly intelligent and curious buddy. All 3 boys are very laid back and Thunder loves to be where you are. He loves to play and will make the perfect best friend to any human young or old looking for a companion. He also loves other cats and dogs. He is a great mix of play and purr. He is litter box trained and ready for his forever home. Is Thunder your guy?

Female, Born ~07/03/24

 Hazel is part of a feral litter that was trapped and brought into our rescue for further socialization. She looks almost identical to her sister Butterbean who we adopted out before she came to us. She is a shy girl but once she feels safe she is the best lap kitty and will reward your kindness with purrs. She is litter trained and needs to be in a home with other kitties to make her feel safe and teach her how a spoiled house kitty should act. She has a gentle nature and loves to play but saves that only for her trusted people that she feels safe with.  This will get better with time, once she leaves our cat room and settles in with her forever family.  Ideally Hazel and her sister Betty are adopted together but that is negotiable. Hazel tolerates dogs and could learn to love them with time and patience. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and prefers to hide from dogs if they are hyper. That too is getting better with time. Who wants to take a chance on these sweet kitty girls?!   You won’t regret it!

Female, Born ~07/03/24

 Betty is part of feral litter that was trapped and socialized. We brought her sister Butterbean in awhile back and she has already been adopted out. We made more room and brought Betty and her sister Hazel in to continue socializing. They are the sweetest little kitty girls ever. While shy at first that has gotten better over time and will continue to improve. Betty is adorable, her fur is so soft to the touch, she loves to play and get pets. She is litter box trained. She does well with other cats and is learning now to warm up to dogs. We would love to see the sisters go to a home together but it’s not the end of the world if they don’t. They just feel more secure together so if they are separated they definitely need to go to a home with other cats as they love to play and cuddle with other kitties and other kitties make them feel safe and teach them how to be normal kitties as they spent the first days of their life in survival mode. Male, Born ~07/21/24 

Fire is a handsome dark tabby born around Independence Day. He was brought in with his siblings from a hoarding case and was very sick when we got him. Through lots of hard-work he is now healthy and oh so sweet. He loves to play and then will cuddle up on your lap for a cozy nap. Fire is very well socialized, litter box trained, loves all humans and other kitties and warms up quickly to dogs once introduced. His whole litter is so sweet and he will make a wonderful addition to any family.

Female, Born ~07/21/24   

Lilly is a gorgeous medium to long haired black calico kitty. She is part of our Independence Day litter. She is oh so sweet and very playful but more laid back than her brothers. She embodies daintiness.  If you have seen Homeward Bound she is giving Sassy.  She will make the perfect companion to anyone wanting a sweet lap kitty or someone that wants to buy the diamond collar and pink kitty tower for their precious princess. She is litter box trained and loves all humans, other kitties, and warms up quickly to new doggies. Who wants a purrfect princess?!

Male, Born ~10/17/24

Chai is an adorable toy rat terrier that is sure to give you continuous cuteness overload. This small guy is estimated to be 10 lbs fully grown and currently weighs in at 6.6 lbs. He would be the perfect addition for someone looking for a small dog. Quite unusual for our rescue, we believe him  to be full bred as his mom is, and was housed with other full bred dogs of the same breed. Chai has the most outgoing personality and is especially charismatic, meaning he is sure to make your days brighter with his constant excitement. How could you say no to this perfect small bundle of joy?

Male, Born ~10/17/24

Cider, brother to Chai, is a perfect toy rat terrier sure to make you say "awe". He is estimated to be 10 lbs fully grown and currently weighs in at 6.2 lbs. Cider is the definition of small but mighty. During his birth, he became stuck in the birth canal and left many worried. However, this sweet boy proved our doubts wrong and is thriving. He shares the same energetic energy as his brother, and is definitely a fan favorite. He is as cute as can be, and is sure to be an adorable addition to a family of any size. Quite unusual for our rescue, we believe him  to be full bred as his mom is, and was housed with other full bred dogs of the same breed.  Be sure to act fast because with this level of cuteness, everyone will be wanting him.
