Charlie - Our Longest Resident
Male, 9/21/25
Charlie is a few-month-old puppy who is pure joy wrapped up in floppy ears and a wagging tail. He’s super silly, endlessly sweet, and has one of those personalities that instantly wins over everyone he meets. From the moment you say hello, Charlie is ready to be your best friend—whether that means playing, cuddling, or just following you around to see what you’re up to.
Despite his young age, Charlie is already doing great with his training. He is almost fully potty-trained and continues to impress with how quickly he learns. He already knows a few tricks, including sit and shake, and he’s eager to keep learning more—especially if treats and praise are involved! His playful nature makes training fun, and his sweet personality makes him a joy to have around.
Charlie is expected to grow into a big pup, so he’s looking for a home that’s excited for a larger dog and all the adventures that come with one.
Petunia

Meet Petunia! Petunia is the kind of dog who reminds you that sometimes all you really need is one great companion — and she is absolutely prepared to be exactly that.
This sweet, loving girl is an absolute people person through and through. She lives for cuddles, thrives on human attention, and has a playful, fun side that comes out at just the right moments to keep you on your toes. She is warm, affectionate, and has a deep and genuine love for the humans in her life that is honestly hard not to be moved by. People are her whole world — and she wants to be yours.
Petunia needs to be the only animal in the home — no other dogs, no cats, no exceptions. She has no interest in sharing her space with other animals and would simply not be happy in a home where she had to. She also does best in an adult only household where she can have the calm, focused love and attention she craves without the unpredictability that comes with young children.
But for the right person — an adult household ready to make her the absolute center of their world — Petunia is going to be everything. No divided attention, no competition for the couch, no sharing. Just Petunia and her person, and a whole lot of love going both ways.
She is not looking for a full house. She is looking for her person — and when she finds them, she is going to love them with absolutely everything she has.
Faye

Meet Faye! Faye is the kind of dog who wakes up every single morning ready to make the absolute most out of the day — and she is looking for someone who feels exactly the same way.
This sweet, energetic young girl has a zest for life that is genuinely contagious. She loves everyone she meets — dogs, cats, kids, strangers — and brings an enthusiasm to every single interaction that makes it impossible not to smile. Faye is not a curl up on the couch all day kind of girl. She wants adventures, she wants playtime, and she wants a person who is excited to give her both. Trail walks, trips to the park, a good game of fetch in the backyard — Faye is in for all of it and then some.
She is working on her potty training and doing great, and outside of that she is as wonderful and loving as they come. Faye just needs the right person — someone active, someone adventurous, and someone who understands that a dog with this much energy and this much love to give is not a handful, she is a gift.

Jacie

Meet Jacie! How this girl has continued to get overlooked is something we genuinely cannot wrap our heads around — because Jacie is, in every sense of the word, perfection.
This loyal, loving, deeply easygoing girl has officially mastered the art of just being. She does not need a packed schedule or a yard full of activity — she needs her person, a good spot in the sun, and maybe a cozy place to snuggle up at the end of the day. Whether you are working from home, catching up on your favorite shows, or simply existing in the same room as her, Jacie is happy. She is just genuinely, peacefully, contentedly happy — and that kind of energy is rarer than you think.
She gets along beautifully with other dogs but is equally comfortable being the sole recipient of all your love and attention. While the other dogs in her foster home run around and play, Jacie is perfectly content soaking up a sunny spot and living her best life at her own pace. No drama, no fuss — just a good girl doing exactly what she was born to do.
One look from those eyes and you will find yourself making room for her without even thinking about it. And once she is settled in next to you, you are going to wonder why you ever had it any other way.
Jacie is not looking for a lot. She is just looking for her person — and whoever that is, is going to feel incredibly lucky.
Maple

Meet Maple! Maple has life completely figured out — and her philosophy is simple. A good walk, a soft spot to sleep, and the people she loves nearby. That is it. That is the dream, and she is living it.
This sweet, easygoing lab mix is the definition of a low maintenance companion. She is not going to demand a packed schedule or an action packed weekend — she is perfectly happy to spend the majority of her day napping in the sunniest spot she can find and absolutely thriving while doing it. But do not let the laziness fool you — when it is time for a walk Maple is ready and willing, and she enjoys every single second of it before returning home to resume her very important resting duties.
She is wonderful with everyone she meets — dogs, cats, kids, strangers — and brings a calm, gentle warmth to every room she walks into. She is fully potty trained and as easy to live with as any dog we have ever had the pleasure of caring for.
Maple is the perfect companion for someone who wants a sweet, loving, laid back dog to share the quiet moments with. She does not ask for much — just your company, a good walk here and there, and a cozy place to sleep. In return she will give you all the calm, devoted, sleepy love a dog has to offer.
Honestly that sounds like a pretty perfect deal to us.
Scooter

Meet Scooter! There are dogs who make you smile, and then there is Scooter — who will have you laughing out loud on a daily basis just by being exactly who he is.
This sweet, goofy hound mix is genuinely one of a kind. He is laid back when the moment calls for it, absolutely wild when the energy strikes, cuddly when you need it most, and funny basically all of the time without even trying. He loves everyone and everything he has ever encountered — people, dogs, cats, strangers — Scooter does not have a single enemy in this world and he never will. He is just that kind of dog.
He is working on his potty training and making great progress, but outside of that he is as easy and wonderful to live with as they come. Scooter is the kind of dog who fills a home with noise and joy and laughter and warmth, and makes you wonder how things were ever quiet before he arrived.

Linus

Meet Linus! Linus is the rare kind of dog who truly does it all — and does all of it exceptionally well.
This handsome mystery mix has a little bit of everything in him, and his personality reflects that perfectly. He is up for an adventure when the moment calls for it — walks, outings, exploring somewhere new — and he brings an enthusiasm to all of it that is genuinely contagious. But the moment it is time to wind down, Linus transitions into full couch mode without missing a beat, ready to curl up, cuddle in, and sleep like it is his second full time job. He does not believe in doing things halfway, and that includes both playing hard and resting harder.
He is wonderful with absolutely everyone he meets — other dogs, cats, kids, strangers — and has the kind of warm, easygoing nature that makes him fit seamlessly into just about any home and any lifestyle. Meet Savannah! This beautiful girl is as easygoing and loyal as they come. Savannah is a very chill girl whose favorite place to be is wherever her person is. If you’re sitting on the couch, she’ll settle at your feet. If you’re lying down, she’ll happily curl up beside you. She’s earned herself the nickname “Shadow” because she loves following her people around and simply being included in their day.
Savannah does well with other dogs, although she isn’t overly playful and would likely be happiest with lower-energy canine friends who respect her space. She loves affection and companionship but prefers to enjoy it beside you rather than being held or hugged, so a home with older children would be the best fit for her.
Savannah does fine while her people are away, but after everything she’s been through, she certainly seems to be making up for lost time when it comes to having someone to love. A home where someone is around often would make this sweet girl especially happy. She is easy, loyal, absolutely beautiful, and ready to spend the rest of her life being someone’s little shadow.

Uno - Our Longest Cat Resident

Meet Uno, Uno is the kind of cat who keeps you on your toes — and honestly, life is just more fun with him around.
This chunky, active guy is endlessly entertaining. He loves to play, he loves to explore, and he has a legendary talent for turning absolutely anything into a game — including escaping places he definitely shouldn't be able to escape from. With Uno, you'll never be bored and nor will he if you have other animals as he loves both cats and dogs.
He's got a huge personality and isn't shy about showing it. He'll make you laugh every single day, and when he decides it's time to be sweet, those moments feel extra special because you really earned them. There's something deeply satisfying about winning over a cat like Uno. Uno came to us after the unexpected loss of his owner, and now he's searching for a new family to call his own, but his personality is still shining bright and he is ready to find a place to live out the rest of his amazing days.
Trixie

Meet Trixie! Do not let the face fool you — yes, she looks like she has opinions, and yes, she will maintain that expression no matter what you do. But underneath that permanent resting grumpy face is one of the sweetest, most loving, most trusting cats we have ever had the privilege of caring for, and her story is proof of that in every possible way.
When we found Trixie she was limping badly down a rural road. We hoped it was just a sprain or a broken leg — but what we discovered was so much worse. Someone had shot her. While preparing her for surgery we discovered she was FIV positive and was also suffering from mastitis — she had recently been nursing kittens who were never found. We treated her mastitis first so she could safely undergo her amputation, and through all of it, every single difficult step, Trixie never once stopped being sweet, loving, and trusting toward the people trying to help her. Her leg could not be saved, but she absolutely could be — and we knew she deserved that chance, so we gave her one.
FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, is a slow-acting virus that affects a cat's immune system over time. It is not contagious to humans or other animals, and FIV positive cats can live long, full, and deeply happy lives with the right care. For Trixie that simply means regular vet checkups to keep an eye on her health, keeping her indoors, and ideally being the only cat in the home or living with other FIV positive cats. Outside of that she is just a cat who deserves to be loved — and she will absolutely return every bit of it.
After months of treatment and recovery, Trixie is finally ready for her forever home. She has been through more than most cats could ever imagine and she came out the other side still choosing to trust, still choosing sweetness, still choosing love. Trixie deserved a chance — and now she deserves a home.
Kiyomi

Meet Kiyomi (mother of Lemon, Lime, Mandarine, Tangelo, and Clementine)! This beautiful girl has spent her time being an incredible mom, and through it all she has remained one of the sweetest, gentlest cats you could ever hope to meet.
Kiyomi has a calm, loving personality that makes everyone around her feel instantly comfortable. She adores people, gets along wonderfully with other cats, and is even happy around dogs. No matter what is going on around her, she carries herself with a quiet kindness and easygoing nature that makes her such a joy to have nearby.
After raising her kittens so patiently and lovingly, Kiyomi is finally ready for a home where she can be cared for and spoiled the way she deserves. She enjoys attention, appreciates a cozy place to relax, and has the kind of soft, affectionate presence that turns a house into a home.
Kiyomi has already given so much love to everyone around her — now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby.
Muffin

Meet Muffin! There are cats, and then there is Muffin — and anyone who has spent five minutes with her already knows the difference. This beautiful calico girl has already proven herself as a devoted, patient mama, and that same calm and nurturing energy follows her into every room she walks into. She is wonderful with other cats and, once she warms up, gets along great with dogs too — which is just one more thing that makes her exceptional. Fully vetted and working on her litter box training, Muffin is as well-rounded as they come. She does not need to demand your attention. She just quietly makes herself at home and before you know it you cannot picture the place without her. That is the Muffin effect. And it is a very good one.
Minerva

Meet Minerva! This two-year-old girl has been through more than she ever should have, and yet here she is — sweet, resilient, and ready to love someone with everything she has got. Minerva was surrendered at a veterinary clinic in Clinton, SC by an owner who no longer wanted her and made it very clear he intended to harm her if they did not comply. That team refused. They stood up for her, convinced him to sign over his rights, and then reached out to us — because they knew she deserved better, and they were absolutely right.
What they handed over to us was a cat who had every reason to be broken and simply was not. Minerva is gentle, affectionate, and wonderful with other cats. She warms up beautifully to dogs with a proper introduction and has shown nothing but grace through all of it. She is done with the hard part. Now she is just waiting for the person who will give her the safe, loving home she should have had from the very beginning.
Banana

Meet Banana! He was found living in someone's backyard — not exactly the life a cat like Banana deserves — and when we got the call we did not hesitate for a second. And we are so glad we didn't, because this boy has turned out to be something really special.
Banana takes a little time to warm up, and that is completely okay. He has learned to be thoughtful about who he trusts — but once he decides you are worth it, he gives you everything he has got. Affectionate, playful, and blessed with one of the most impressive purrs you have ever heard in your life, Banana is the kind of cat who quietly works his way into your heart before you even realize it is happening.
He is healthy, litter trained, and so ready for a home where he can finally exhale and just be loved. If you are patient enough to let Banana come to you, what you get in return is a loyal, purring, deeply devoted companion who will make every single day a little better.
Cacao

Meet Cacao! When Cacao first came to us after being found in someone's backyard, the world felt like a very scary place to him. He was terrified and unsure, and it broke our hearts to see it. But this boy has come so far — and what has emerged from all of that fear is a sweet, playful, deeply loving young cat who is finally starting to understand that good things are coming his way.
Cacao is blossoming more every single day. He loves to play, he loves his people once he finds his footing with them, and he has a purr that could honestly fill an entire room. He is healthy, litter trained, and ready for a home where he can continue to grow into the confident, loving cat we already know he is becoming.
Cacao does not need perfect. He just needs patient — and in return he will give you a loyalty and a sweetness that was absolutely worth the wait.

Meet Do! This sweet little bottle baby kitten has blossomed into something truly special, and whoever brings her home is going to find that out very quickly. Do is playful, affectionate, and absolutely full of life — the kind of kitten who throws herself into everything with total enthusiasm and then curls up against you at the end of the day like she has known you forever. She is healthy, litter trained, and as easy and wonderful to live with as she is to fall in love with. Do came into this world needing a little extra care, and she responded by becoming one of the sweetest, most loving kittens we have had the pleasure of raising. She is so ready for a home to call her own, and she is going to make whoever chooses her feel like the luckiest person alive.
Clover

Meet Clover! This sweet little kitten was found all on her own outside Clemson University — a tiny face in a big world, just waiting for someone to stop and notice her. Someone did, and we are so glad they did, because Clover has turned out to be an absolute gem. She is playful, gentle, deeply affectionate, and has the kind of quiet sweetness that works its way into your heart before you even realize it is happening. She is healthy and litter trained, and has settled into kitten life beautifully — curious about everything, loving toward everyone, and ready for a home where she can finally put down roots. Clover has already proven she is a survivor. Now it is time for her to just be loved, and she is so ready for that.
Millie

Meet Millie! Millie is a sweet, playful little kitten who has absolutely no problem making herself at home — she just prefers to do it on her own terms, and honestly we respect that about her. She loves to play, loves to chase things, and has a curiosity and energy about her that makes her an absolute joy to watch. She adores other cats and loves nothing more than curling up with her feline friends after a good play session. She is a little selective about being touched at first, but she is coming around beautifully — especially when freeze dried minnows are involved, which as far as Millie is concerned are basically magic. She is healthy, litter trained, and as sweet and wonderful as they come. Millie just needs a patient and loving home where she can continue to come into her own — and something tells us she is going to absolutely flourish.
Maisie

Meet Maisie! Maisie is the kind of kitten who observes before she engages — and once you understand that about her, everything else just clicks. She is sweet, gentle, healthy, litter trained, and absolutely wonderful with other cats, spending her downtime cuddled up with her feline companions like it is her full time job. She likes to be in the room with you, near you, and part of what is happening — she just prefers to ease into affection at her own pace, and that is a perfectly wonderful way to be. She is treat motivated in the best possible way, with a particular weakness for freeze dried minnows that has proven to be very useful in winning her over. Maisie is the kind of cat who will quietly work her way into your heart when you least expect it — and when she does, it is going to feel really special.
Fisk

Meet Fisk! There are cats with personality, and then there is Fisk — who has so much of it that you will find yourself talking about him to people who have never even met him, and somehow they will feel like they already know him.
This young adult boy is an absolute original. He loves everyone he meets without reservation — people, cats, dogs, strangers, regulars, absolutely everybody — and he approaches every single interaction with the kind of confident, enthusiastic charm that makes it very hard to look away. Fisk does not just enter a room, he arrives, and everyone in that room is going to know it.
He is fully vetted, litter trained, and as healthy and wonderful as they come. Fisk is the kind of cat who will keep you entertained, keep you on your toes, and then curl up at the end of the day and remind you that underneath all that personality is a deeply loving cat who just wants to be your person.

Meet Doug! Doug's story did not start easy — he came to us badly injured, and we believe he may have fallen from a moving vehicle or experienced something similarly traumatic. He had a detached lip and needed real care before he could even begin to think about finding a home. But Doug is a fighter, and he came through it all like the tough, resilient boy he is.
He is a little shy when he first meets someone new — and honestly, given what he has been through, that makes complete sense. But give him just a little bit of time and the real Doug comes out, and the real Doug is an absolute blast. Playful, warm, and wonderful with everyone he meets — people, cats, and dogs alike — he has a personality that is genuinely impossible not to love once he decides you are worth opening up to.
He is healthy, litter trained, and fully ready for the next chapter of his life. Doug has already proven he can get through the hard stuff with his spirit completely intact — and whoever brings him home is going to get a front row seat to just how wonderful he truly is.
Doug has been through enough. It is time for nothing but good things from here on out.
Tajin

Meet Tajin! Tajin has a very specific approach to meeting new people — he is going to disappear for just a moment, have a quick think about things, and then reappear and start purring like the two of you have been best friends for years. It is charming, it is a little dramatic, and it is completely and utterly him.
Once Tajin decides he is comfortable — which does not take long at all — he is an absolute sweetheart. He loves wet food with a passion that can only be described as deeply personal, and there is nothing in this world he enjoys more than burrowing himself completely inside a cozy blanket and disappearing into the most content little lump you have ever seen. He is warm, loving, and wonderful with other cats, dogs, and people alike.
He is healthy, litter trained, and fully vetted — as easy and wonderful to live with as he is to fall in love with. Tajin is the kind of cat who makes your home feel cozier just by being in it, and whoever brings him home is going to wonder very quickly how their blankets ever felt warm enough without him.
Tajin is ready for his forever home — and we have a feeling the moment he crawls under your covers for the first time, he is never going to want to leave.
