While he can be shy around loud noises and new people, he warms up quickly with a calm approach, often seeking affection like a cat. Chip adores being outdoors and is now walking a few miles a day on a leash. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will always have a puppy-like spirit, Chip is waiting for his forever home.

He walks well on his leash but is still shy and nervous and will need someone with patience to help him build his confidence. He’s very curious and smart. He loves to wiggle on his back and play first thing in the morning. Having someone who can be with him most of the day would be ideal because he just wants to be near you and to be part of everything. He does well in his crate and loves car rides. Emmett is a wonderful dog and will make a terrific companion.
